Federal Programs Notice
Each year, Morgan County School District Re-3 applies for grant funding
through the Consolidated Federal Programs Grant process. Funds are requested for the following programs:
Title I-A Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged
Title II-A Teacher and Principal Training and Recruiting.
Title III Language Instruction for Limited English Proficient Students
As a part of the grant proposal process, Morgan County School District Re-3 provides meaningful consultation with any private schools who serve students residing within District boundaries.
Grant proposals are due to the Colorado Department of Education each year by June 30. Allocations are based on formulas determined by the federal government and grant proposals are often based upon preliminary allocation amounts. Budget revisions are necessary and must be completed by mid-March of each year.
