    It's not a lack of good grades that stops them from going to college or into vocational training — it's a parent's workplace injury.
    That's where the Pinnacol Foundation comes in. We created our scholarship program to ensure that the children of people seriously injured or killed on the job have the opportunity to pursue their education dreams. Since the foundation's launch in 2000, we've awarded $6 million in scholarships to nearly 650 students across Colorado.

    The Anna C.     This scholarship offered by Colorado Garden Foundation is a four-year-full-ride scholarship available to an incoming freshman resident from Colorado college or university.  This scholarship includes tuition, fees, room & board, and all required books for the four years.  In addition, the student will be given a laptop computer and printer at the start of their freshman year.

    Colorado Masons' Benevolent  Fund Scholarship 

    The scholarships and grants are awarded primarily for leadership, maturity, need, and scholastic ability. The only requirements are that the applicant must be a graduating senior from an accredited Colorado high school, a US Citizen, and must be attending an accredited university, college or Vocational School within the State of Colorado.

    *Drop off the completed application package in the mailbox at 405 Main Street (this is the Mason lodge location) and a Mason member will sign and contact you for an interview.

    *The local lodge has a $1,500 scholarship available and the state “Grand Lodge” has about half a dozen $7,000 scholarships to award.  The Grand Lodge scholarships are eligible for annual renewal.

    CCCA will grant two regional one-time awards in the amounts of $1,000
    and $500 each to seniors graduating from Colorado High Schools.

    East Morgan County Hospital Foundation Medical Staff Scholarship

    The EMCH Foundation Medical Staff Scholarship was established in the winter of 2009. The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from an area high school who will be attending college in Colorado with plans to become a physician or advanced practice provider (PA or NP). The amount of the scholarship will be dependent upon funding, but has traditionally been $1,000.

    Applications will be considered based on the core values of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks including: scholarship, community service, leadership and financial need.  Membership of parents in the Elks Lodge is not a requirement for any Elk's scholarship, but membership of parents in the Elks Lodge or participation of the students in Elk-sponsored projects may be a discretionary factor considered by the selection committee.

    The purpose of the Colorado Lions Foundation's Educational Scholarship Endowment Fund is to provide undergraduate educational scholarship funds to legal citizens within the State of Colorado and MD-6 who may or may not be associated with a Lion, Lioness or Leo.     Ken Amen Memorial Scholarship

    The Ken Amen Memorial Scholarship recognizes confident young people who excel in core leader areas of agriculture, community involvement and faithful servant leadership. The scholarship amount will be given as follows: $1000 to current college students (increments of $500 with a maximum of 2 recipients) and $1500 to current high school seniors (increments of $500 with a maximum of 3 recipients).

    Logan County Cattle Women Scholarship

    Logan County Cattle Women (LCCW) is offering a $2,000 scholarship to a graduating senior in northeastern Colorado.  Priority will be given to students continuing their education in a career-technical/trade program and/or majoring in agriculture or ag areas.  While GPA will be considered, emphasis will be placed on leadership abilities and extra-curricular activities, with special importance on involvement in 4-H and/or FFA.

    The Fort Morgan Retired School Employees Association Scholarship was established to promote excellence in education.  The scholarship is designed for students planning to attend an institution of higher learning, which may be a 2 or 4 year college or vocational school. $1,000.00 shall be awarded.

    All Morgan County high school seniors who are in the top one-third of their class and planning on attending a college or trade school may apply.  Scholarships range in amount between $500-$1,000

    The Morgan Conservation District is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a local high school senior or college freshman pursuing an agricultural degree or certificate. This can include an agricultural or natural resources-based field of study.

    SeniorCare.com Aging Matters Scholarship

    SeniorCare.com continues to bring more awareness to the key issues we face as an aging population. For the 6th consecutive year, we will be awarding an annual college scholarship to an individual that best demonstrates to us why "Aging Matters" to them. A $1500 scholarship will be given annually to a selected college student that currently cares for an aging loved one, works within the senior community, or intends to pursue a career that will have an impact on the elder population. Any existing student (or incoming freshman), in good academic standing, at a 2 or 4 year accredited college can apply for this scholarship. The recipient will demonstrate a unique and admirable understanding and desire to show us that "Aging Matters" to them.

    Central Colorado Water Conservancy District funds a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving student
    who is interested in pursuing a career in natural resources, agriculture, water resources, and

    Your hard work and dedication to the sport of RODEO may have a reward!  The Brush, CO Rodeo Association and Foundation have established a $1,000.00 scholarship to be awarded to a high school senior from Northeast Colorado who will participate in an intercollegiate rodeo sports program.
