Are You Getting Phone Calls...
When your child's account for his/her meals reaches $5.00 or less, the automated system is set up to telephone you to inform you of this.
To eliminate the calls, you have three choices:
1 - Add more money to your child's account,
2 - Remove the remaining money from your child's account, or
3 - Transfer the remaining money to another child's account.
To add money to your child's account, stop by the office at your child's school.
To remove the money from your child's account, please complete the form titled "Meals Account Refund Form" found on the Forms /Formas page. Click on Forms / Formas on the right to get to the form. Detailed instructions are provided on the form.
To transfer the remaining money from your child's account to another child's account, please call or e-mail our food service director at 370-6102 or firstname.lastname@example.org . You will need to provide the child's name and student number whose account you want the money transferred from and the child's name and student number whose account you want the money transferred to. The children must be in the same household.
Once your child's account has a zero balance, you will no longer receive phone calls concerning his/her account.
HELPHUL HINT: If you child is a student at Fort Morgan High School or Fort Morgan Middle School, both schools offer food items through their al la carte. Your child can ask how much money is in their account and spend that amount at the al la carte to bring his/her account to a zero balance.
The balance for meals is also available on Parent Portal. After logging into your Parent Portal account, click on Meals Account to view the current balance that is available for each child.
